SCOPE OF WORK
1.1. Vale is soliciting a proposal to supply, implement and host an online orientation program that will be accessible to employee, visitors and contractors prior to their arrival on site. It is believed that an online orientation will fill a gap in that it will provide employees, visitors and contractor with required information prior to their arrival on site relevant to travel requirements and site specific policies and procedures. In anticipation of the Underground Operation starting that the demand for site orientation will increase which will stress the resources need to deliver this content. Whatever information can be provided prior to site arrival will be of value to people coming to site to help ensure adherence to site policies and procedures.
2.1. Performance of the Work shall be in accordance with the following schedule:

3.1. Detailed Scope of Work to be performed by the Contractor shall include the following:
To develop a web based tool whereby contractors and visitors to the Voisey’s Bay, Labrador Operations can access and register for a site specific, online orientation course to view safety and other related information prior to coming to site. This will free up on site resources while providing contractors and visitors with needed information prior to coming to site.
This tool must meet the following requirements:
3.1.1. Web based user interface
3.1.2. Web based administration interface
3.1.3. Web based data entry fields
3.1.4. Customized branding to Vale requirements
3.1.5. Ability to be compatible with Explorer
3.1.6. Ability to generate and email daily report.
3.1.7. Ability to track time at task
3.1.8. Ability to administer exam and report results
3.1.9. Ability to email validation of program completion.
3.1.10. Ability to handle multiple sessions of the same course
3.1.11. Ability to "Bookmark" where a learner stops in his/her training program
3.1.12. Ability to set test pass score of tests. Questions to be randomly selected form a bank of questions
3.1.13. Ability to automatically score tests
3.1.14. Ability to restrict the number of times a test is attempted by a learner
3.1.15. Ability to certify learners upon successful completion of a learning program and email Vale and employer representatives.
3.1.16. Ability to provide unique username and password.
3.1.17. Ability to track a learners activity on the system including date, time and length of time in the system
3.1.18. Ability to generate reports
3.1.19. Ability to allow for more than one administrator
3.1.20. Ability to timeout after a set time
4. COMPANY FURNISHED SERVICES & FACILITIES
4.1. The Company will provide the Contractor, at no cost, specifically for the performance of the Work of this Contract, the following Services and Facilities:
4.1.1. Copy of current Site Orientation PPT
4.1.2. Subject matter experts to determine further content of Online orientation
4.1.3. Photos and Videos that may be required
4.1.4. Travel on company charter to site if required
4.1.5. Meals and accommodations at site if required
5. Company furnished equipment & tools
